Welcome to Thou Shalt Journal (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of thoushaltjournal.com (the “Site”) and any purchase of our books (the “Book” or “Books”). By accessing the Site or purchasing a Book, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1) Online Store Terms

By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority and you have given consent for any minor dependents to use the Site.

You may not use the Site or purchase Books for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

2) General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that content you submit (not including payment information) may be transmitted over networks. Payment information is encrypted during checkout.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Site or access to the Site without express written permission by us.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate, but we do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free. Any reliance on Site information is at your own risk.

4) Books, Pricing & Availability

All descriptions of Books and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue titles or editions, and correct errors (including pricing or availability) at any time.

We try to display images accurately, but we cannot guarantee your device’s display of colors or appearance.

5) Orders, Billing & Customer Information

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order, including orders that appear to be placed for resale.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and shipping information and to promptly update your information if it changes.

6) Shipping & Delivery

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and not guarantees. Once your order is transferred to the carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.

7) Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer returns or refunds.
If your Book arrives damaged or you receive the wrong Book, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

8) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, images, designs, logos, and the Book’s content—is owned by or licensed to Thou Shalt Journal and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Book or Site content without written permission, except where permitted by law.

9) Reviews, Testimonials & Submissions

If you submit a review, testimonial, photo, or other content (“Submissions”), you grant us the right to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display your Submissions for marketing and promotional purposes in any media, without compensation, unless prohibited by law. If you prefer your name not be used with a testimonial, please tell us at the time of submission.

10) Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

11) Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site:

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Book(s) at issue.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thou Shalt Journal and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

These Terms remain in effect unless terminated by you or us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we believe you have violated these Terms.
